Ultrasound - week 28

This past week we were able to see baby f once again in our latest ultrasound. Mom and Britt were also able to come along on the visit. We got to see him/her open its mouth and move around a bit. Baby is measuring at 2 lb. 8 oz. right now and is in a breach position (keep your fingers crossed that it moves). We got some new pictures of our little one that is getting fatter and looks more and more like a real baby. So exiting.

Great job to Erin for your big half marathon finish!! Can't wait to see you run again.

Seriously?

At 26 weeks I see that our baby is the size of an English hothouse cucumber! I didn't even know such a thing existed, but I guess if you're comparing size of a baby you have to get creative.

The baby is getting quite active these days waking me up with the jabs and kicks. It starts at about 4 or 5 a.m. so I guess we will have an early riser. Oh boy!

Growing....

Well, I am growing quite rapidly these days or at least it feels like it. Baby F. is kicking and waking me up with the commotion in there. I took a Chinese gender predictor test with the ladies at work the other day and it said girl, but I'm carrying pretty low which says I'm having a boy. Not sure, but whatever it is it is finally making more of its presence known.

Glucose test next week - I hope I pass. I've heard the 3 hour ordeal is not fun!

Another ultra sound at the end of the month to get a better look at the spine. It will be fun to see the little guy/girl again and bigger.
