New Game

Grace is showing her dare devil personality these days with her favorite game of standing somewhere holding on and then turning and falling into John or my arms. She watches to make sure we are there out of the corner of her eye and then dives into us. She has mastered the "trust tree" for sure!

Crawling and Climbing...oh boy!

Ms. Grace is now a full fledged crawler and climber...if it looks grabable, she will climb (and yes, I know grabable is not a word). She's climbing steps, bookshelves, chairs, foot stools and even her toy drum. It it is stable, she will climb. The house is slowly becoming baby proofed, but I can't say that I have hit all of the problem areas. Finnigan is now in trouble because every time he is on the floor relaxing our Gracie is soon to be in his space, poking and wanting to play. Poor guy!

We spent the Memorial Weekend visiting John's family in Illinois. What a fun visit! We left MN on Friday morning getting into LaSalle, IL around 2 p.m. We had a great visit with Great-Grandma Mary and had so much fun seeing Pete, Holly, Ellen, Jack, Laura and Charlie and Jodie. Whew! Celebrated Ellen's birthday at Marshalls and with a steak dinner..mmmm! On Sunday we headed down to Peoria to see John and Kati. Great time on the lake, home and Fired Up! I can't wait to see Grace's tile that she made. Thanks for the fun memories and we can't wait to come back!!
